Subway - Anchorage

Customer service was great, the young lady did well making the sandwiches. Seems she was a lone and it was lunch hour so was getting busy but she was great. The floor was sticky, probably soda spill.

Arrived at 8:20 yesterday and was looking to get three sandwiches. This location is open till 9 and I was told they would be willing to make me only one sandwich because they were closing for the day. There was no one else in the store ordering food. Trying to figure out what else to chose for dinner half a dozen people pulled up to this location and were turned away. If you’re not gonna be open till 9 don’t show open hours till 9.

My husband brought home meatball subs which is usually delicious .I'm pregnant and was really looking forward to it. My meatballs are super old. Their very dry, discolored and ruined my sub. No reason why fresh ones weren't available regardless of the time (1 1/2 hrs prior to closing). The employee I give 5 stars . Just that 1 thing have it a 2 star review.

Would’ve given zero rating if it was possible. An employee with a cap and beard walked in while we were waiting in line. Didn’t wash his hands. Just put on gloves and asked in a low voice what I’ve got to order. No greeting. Told him spicy Italian. My wife ordered right after me. He asked less than a minute later what I wanted. Told him again. He spoke in a low voice. It seemed apparent he didn’t want to be there. There was one other person in my party but she left to order from another food place. She later told me she didn’t like his attitude from the beginning and he didn’t wash his hands. He asked what we wanted on our sandwiches. My wife went first and became upset. He squeezed out too much mustard and roughly handled the add ons. My wife said something loudly to him. As he wrapped the sandwiches he kept mouthing something under his breath. There at my turn he asked if I was going to give him attitude. Then he proceeded to roughly handle my sandwich and almost literally smashed it into its wrapping. That’s when I told my wife and one other person that we’re leaving and we left. Never coming back here again!

Best customer service and VERY VERY CLEAN. MY family will only eat at this Subway.
