Oec Revolving Sushi - Anchorage

The place was nice and roomy when my friend and I went. I ordered the chirashi and a couple of other rolls. while my friend ordered an bento box. the miso was nice and hot. the only downfall was the sushi felt like it was pre-frozen because the center of the fish was frozen. It didn't help that I couldn't enjoy the sushi I ordered due to it being too fishy to enjoy. I don't recommendable it. wish the revolving part of the restaurant was open.

Extremely good. Of all the sushis I have had, and as someone who's been to Japan over 30 times, I've had some, this is among the best. Get some sashimi you'll tell the difference. All sashimi fishes are very fresh.

Some of the best sushi we have had in years, the sake was excellent as well. I would highly recommend eating here if you find yourself in anchorage. The seafood was outstandingly fresh, as well as atmosphere.

Wanted to visit a place like this since seeing one in LA on the food channel. It did not disappoint and a fraction of what I thought it would be.

I have been to OEC before, but not for several years. Everything was tasty, and there was a good variety, but as compared to prior visits, I noticed less nigiri options on the belt. I imagine this may be due to cost or general customer preferences, but I was left wishing I had ordered from the menu so I could have more raw options.
