I appreciate the variety they offer—it's simple yet high quality, which is why we often go out of our way to return. I'm really impressed by how well they gauge demand; they manage to have a little bit of everything without overstocking, which can lead to waste. That level of attention and effort is commendable. What Glen “Diabolik” doesn't like about Anakie General Store:
We were in need of a meal, and this place provided that. The service was friendly, but the chips could have been fresher. The sausage roll was decent. Unfortunately, the restrooms were not very clean. View all feedback.
This is our 3rd visit in last 2 years. Every time we come here we stop for a cup of hot chocolate and Latte. Grocery store, Bar and Bistro. Sip a beer or wine if you want to enjoy a small town environment. Love this place. Will visit again in coming summer.
Great stop for a bite after exploring Little River Gorge. Highly recommended the beef burger.
Easy parking to get in and out if you're in need of a pit stop. very affordable and delicious food on offer (the south Melbourne Dim Sims are great).
Grabbed a bite to eat here with the kids. The lady behind the counter was fabulous. I watched her juggle so many orders, she was a machine. Well done, you are such a hard worker.
