What, you never heard of Mediterranean sushi before? Kibbeh is a restaurant located in the resort Breathless. They have outdoor seating. The portions are small. The cuisine is confusing. I did not pay for my meal but the prices are outrageously high for the quality and portions of food you're getting. I got a sushi roll, I think with eel, which was solid. I also ordered salmon sashimi which didn't have much to it, served almost too simply with a sprinkling of sesame seeds and little else. The portion was at least a good size and the quality of the fish was good too. The beef skewer I ordered was comically small but the meat was tasty. The hummus was also a stingy portion and was easily the worst thing on the table, more like a paste in consistency. There was a dessert, some type of cigar cookie. By this time I was feeling sort of hostile towards the whole meal so the only picture I have of this dessert is me giving the finger over it, so I can't upload it. Sorry! Service was sweet. The meal wasn't bad I just think there are better ones to be had at better prices if you leave the confines of the resort. But for convenience, it can't be beat, and you're right by the water with a lovely view of the pier. ....Oh, they were also playing Orgy's Blue Monday. HOW DOES IT FEEL?! TELL ME HOW DOES IT FEEL?! Confusing man....
The mood of this place when the sun goes down is unmatched! It's right off the beach..so close you can hear the waves. The menu is Mediterranean I sprung for hummus and falafel. The service was amazing as all the Breathless service is. Small plates but the food was flavorful and you can always order more. There was no wait, it was cute, quite and beautiful.
