Located on the bank of the river Somme in the centre of town. Relaxed ambience and very welcoming staff. We sat in the outside salon that was well heated and waterproof!Great choice of food that was well explained with some witty banter. All of the food was well prepared, tasty and in large portions - possibly too large! Value was very fair.Recommended View all feedback.
What Monserrate Batz doesn't like about La bistouille:
The salad was of poor quality, probably some packaged convenience lettuce. There wasn't even a proper dressing. Mainly tasted of vinegar. The vegetables were pickled, so probably came straight out of a glass. The ham was sliced too thickly. On June 6, we celebrated with a fried mussel. I recommend.
A warm welcome in an original setting. The kitchen was uneven: some good dishes. I don't know. Disappointment came mainly to dessert: strawberry pie had only two and the floating island had the strength of a pringles fries.
Too bad. the slate and its beef tartar prepared or not. the dish and its fries, a feast. The lady alone at the service was hurting me. Nice, effective but well alone. No one to help him. another girl and her horsetail without a smile doesn't give her a hand. As time goes by, the waiting between the dishes extends. coffee before desserts. The whip.
Average meal, the cute net burger is particular whose texture of the meat, camembert that dominates, bread that emulates, and a friend's frog dessert was burned.
For our 3 years, evening of Friday 18 March 2022 warm welcome, responsible that lets us decide the definitive location at a table after proposal from it. generous order quickly taken along with the aperitif. 15 min waiting for the dish which is more than correct. small problem with mussels, quickly rectified, 5 min top chrono. a happiness to be tightened so quickly. a big thank you again to the fenouille merlan team, of my companion, cooked to perfection, perfect sauce. service more than correct, after 5 years without being back. No disappointment. Nothing to say. I don't want to. we'll thank you for our 3 years
