Downtown Expresso Cafe - Amherstburg

I've had the privilege to become closer with the staff and Owners. The Downtown Espresso has always provided excellent service and coffee. The owner(s) provide high quality coffee using only the finest brands of machines. Their own blend of coffee has become a town favorite. A+++ for me! You must try it!!! Especially in the summer when they offer the Gelato!! No ice-cream shop in Amherstburg can even come close!

Quaint location, amazing coffee's, expresso's, capaccino's etc! The D'amore coffee cart is always amazing! Remo and Renee are very friendly!

Super cozy - like the friends set! Everyone talks to everyone and everyone is made to feel at home... We entered and didn't know anyone. Sat down- all I really 'needed' was a chocolate milkshake made with real cream not that **** down the street.. real flavour. Some of us foodies take time to source out good things... When the owner stood up and made the milkshake it was super cool... funny things happen and friends are made... it's a small world - these people like that feeling of home here... I returned the next day for another choc milkshake...

I had to stop in here because I needed a coffee fix and it had to be espresso based and lucky for me this place was open. It seems to be something of a small cafe, but nothing fancy. They do have an espresso maker and regular coffee is available also. The lady working there was very nice and did offer me some other options, but I wasn't really hungry though another patron seemed to be enjoying his food. Overall, I'm just happy with coffee but if I'm every in the area and also hungry I would go back.

Since I was near Harper Hospital over the weekend, I decided to try something newI was ok with the crowd since it was mid-morning.
