The shop here is super cute, the nicest shop we’ve visited in the lakes for sure. They have a lot of really lovely books and other bits. The cafe is also great we had some coffee and a pastry and it was a 10/10! View all feedback.
Chesters is a wonderful vegetarian caffe directly at a very picturesque flow. the variety on the menu is great and the food tastes excellent. very friendly staff and good service. would definitely recommend this beautiful little caffe. also very doggy friendly, whatever is a bonus.

We had our first visit to Chester’s yesterday! We loved it! Beautiful shop with lovely items for the home or gifts for loved ones, and amazing food! We tried a curried chickpea and sweet potato pastie....Absolutely delicious We stumbled across the shop whilst out on a walk, we’ll definitely be back!
Been visiting Chesters by the River for many years and is always a must when we are down in the Lakes. Just had coffee and a scone which were delious!! They were a good size and with the jam and cream, the best we have had!!
Truly wonderful food and friendly staff such a treat to visit here! Black currant scones the best!
