that's my first time I'm leaving. I was worried after reading some bad reviews. I was pleasantly surprised. the food came before the time. it was delivered hot by a very pleasant man. that was delicious. it was the first takeaway I enjoyed for a long time. I can't recommend it enough. View all feedback.
Never judge a book by its cover. Looks a bit run down and not very appealing, however the inside is actually quite nice and the food is excellent. Extensive menu including some unusual dishes. Take your own alcoholic drinks. Incredibly good value for money, verging on being underpriced for what you're getting. Service was a little slow, however it was at capacity and there appeared to only be two members of staff front of house. I'd definitely return and would recommend without hesitation.
Nice little Indian and Bangladeshi restaurant situated just down from Belper marketplace. At peak times this place can get very noisy. This is a bring your own alcohol restaurant so i'll leave it up to you to figure out why it gets noisy at peak times. Lovely food from here but there can be a wait for food at peak times. The last time I went on a Friday and the food took an hour to come to the table from ordering. The food was mostly worth the wait. I however have to say the Jaipuri Chicken I ordered didn't have that much of a spicey kick to it even though the menu said it was medium. The Saag Aloo my partner had was much spicer. Will go again.
The food at this restaurant is fantastic and the staff is very friendly. I would highly recommend this place. It's even better that they allow you to bring your own drinks.
Good meal for the price. Plus can take your own booze. Would definitely go again.
Great restaurant in Belper. Speedy, attentive service. Bring your own drinks as well which is a draw.
