Casa Ventura - Amarante

Arriving at Casa Ventura can be a bit disoriented as there is nothing on the outside to indicate that it is a restaurant. But don't give up, it will be worth it! Very cozy, informal restaurant with excellent food. We ordered alheira for starters, a portion of veal for two and for dessert a french toast with honey and an Ambrósio. It was all so good! If you are in a hurry this is not a good place to go. I think the ideal is to go and enjoy the meal and the atmosphere there. Will be back for sure!

There is no menu. The question is simply what do you feel like eating? . They will make for you what 's fresh and available. All local ingredients, local wines, in a no nonsense atmosphere. Lovely.
