Red Oak has a good breakfast at reasonable prices. My children love the caring pancakes (degenerated after my son ate the upper layer to get all the syrup he could) and the Jalapeño Gravy is something everyone should try! Okay! The best pancakes we have EVER HAD. No kidding. The staff was like family. If I lived in the area, I would have breakfast here every weekend. Thank you for coordinating everything coming for us and eating MASSSSSIVE quantities of pancakes
A very good breakfast place. We went on Thursday morning and there was no waiting. The restaurant itself was clean and the service was on site. The food was above average. I had the 3 scrambled eggs. You can choose 3 mix-ins and I decided to make avocado or toast, substituting avocado and tomato slices. My husband had a waffle with cut strawberries and strawberry butter! The strawberry butter is from this world! And you have to look at the ladies' toilet, so many lifting notes.
Coffee was really good. Pancakes are very tasty, probably don't need the syrup. Seriously, they're so good. Grits with cheese and jalapeño has kick, but not excessively spicy for a breakfast item. Service was fast and attentive. All requests were met with a smile and helpful demeanor. I recommend it.
Finally gave them a try and they are definitely better than all the other breakfast joints around this area. The staff seemed a bit disorganized but they finally got it. Entrees: Huevos Rancheros 8/10 Two corn tortillas, topped with black beans, two fried eggs and homemade salsa. Served with hand shredded hash browns or grits and your choice of country sausage, link sausage, turkey sausage or bacon. $9.95 *This dish was really good, great flavor and plenty of food. I had the hash browns and they were seasoned really well, just needed to be a bit crispier. Two Egg Breakfast. 7/10 Two eggs, your way, your choice of hand shredded hash browns or grits, country sausage, link sausage, turkey sausage or bacon, and biscuit or white or wheat toast. $9.45 *Overall this was a decent dish, a typical breakfast plate. Had the biscuit and it came with sausage gravy, A nice touch that wasn't expected also had the grits which were ok, Pancakes 7/10 Served with whipped butter and syrup Short Stack (2) $5.95 *Had blueberries and strawberries added in, the pancakes were pretty good. Not the best I have had but the fruit was fresh and had warm syrup. They were really big so you are getting your money's worth with these. If you haven't been there, give them a try.
