Denny's - Altoona

Coffee was fresh, meals were delicious, eggs cooked to perfection. Great service, wish we would have got our waitresses name, but will definitely be back in look for her section! Very clean establishment.

We ordered our food when it came out was all cold. I asked to see our waitress and told her our food was all cold. She asked if we would like for them to remake the food and I said absolutely please that would be very appreciated. Which they did remake our food. Another lady asked if we were waiting for our check or food? I think she was the manager. I said we were waiting for our food because the first time it came out it was all cold. She said they are sorry and they would make sure it came out hot this time. A few minutes later she handed me my check and said the food was on the way. When it came out it was nice and hot and tasted really good. They did not take anything off the check for us having to send it all back the first time. But I am just appreciated that they made it right and remade our food and it came out nice and hot.

Updating my review! My last review wasn't good either. Me and my boyfriend ordered online for pick up. We got the $6 value menu breakfast deal. When I looked inside I was pretty annoyed, my bacon was burnt and I barely got any eggs. Not that I was expecting the container to be filled but I thought I'd get more than whatever that is. The only good thing were the pancakes. I have gone to Denny's 3 times in that past two months and every single time was terrible. I used to love Denny's and everyone was so nice, and the food was awesome but now everything is terrible. I will not be returning here to waste my money.

We have eaten at Denny's many times, although mainly at the johnstown restaurant. This has to be the worst breakfast that we ever had. the coffee was stale and my breakfast was cold. We will not be returning to the altoona denny's again, my husband needs to have treatment early in the morning at the VA hospital usually on an empty stomach and that's wy we stopped for breakfast but we will be looking for a different place.

We were sat pretty quickly but it took 10 minutes just for our server to come over and get our drinks. We ordered milkshakes and she gave us a glass that was cracked. Im a server and I know that when I get drinks for my tables, I always check the glass. I had to go up to the entrance to tell her because she disappeared. We saw our server standing around instead of being attentive to her tables.
