The restaurant has about 30 places and despite the fact that we had almost all the places of hosting the restaurant at any time everything under control. The restaurant was well filled, but not too full. The food has not long been waiting for you and is absolutely recommended. I and my son had wild plates with different meats from the roe, deer and wild boar...very delicious. In addition, there were deer roasts with lumps and fresh vegetables. Everything's great. Also the dessert offer can really be seen, including ice cream with hot raspberries. The price level is quite high, but from my point of view, the price performance is completely true, considering that every meal is a great, colorful salad dish with you, where you have to pay in other locals a little 6 or 7 euros extra. Today I want to get rid of something. I'm a passionate wild meat fan. We, these are my wife and some friends who were eating today at Gasthaus Zum Wildschütz on 21.12.2018. The drinks were good, you can't do anything wrong either, they come from the barrel or bottle. The food we ordered was turtles and wild boar. As a supplement there were lumps, croquettes, redwort and butter vegetables, as well as a sauce and mushrooms. The rattle consisted of a louder ca. 5 cm small very dark dry pieces. The wild boar was also dry and painted with mustard. The red herb from the can was not the hit either. The lumps were boiled and soaked. Only the butter vegetables seem to have been fresh from the froster. The sauce to the meat was rather a sauce from the pack and not fresh. The ambience was all right, except for the many dusty stuffed animals that clutter on the wall.The operation was quite friendly at the beginning until the topic was addressed about the food. Unfortunately, the service was no longer so friendly and let us just stand with our concerns about eating. The bill was very high and not appropriate. In my opinion, the hostesses should close their place, because they do not understand their craftsmanship. My score is for this reason very deficient and not recommended.
