Cafe Brasserie Altea Playa

Came here for a drink but decided to have some food and glad we did. We had the ribs and the satay skewers with fries. Very good ribs and tasty satay skewers good portion size and freshly prepared. The menu was limited due to the current lockdown restrictions but a pleasant couple of hours out.

A sign outside this restaurant states Best Ribs in the world I would say its the most inaccurate statement in the world!! They were tasteless and stringy it was accompanied with a limp tastlees salad. The chips were OK. There are many good rib places in Altea La Cena being one.. The wine best description a disgrace Needless to say I won 't be back!

We stopped for a quick drink and a sandwich which was a Dutch style chicken sandwich with a peanut sauce. The sandwich was underwhelming and could have done with more spice since it was meant to have an Asian flavor.

After having a nice walk along the promenade here in Altea, our group from the coach tour we were on called for our last drink of the day before we completed our bus trip home. Nice outside seating terrace where we all enjoyed our drinks with a nice view of the beach and promenade. Decent prices, friendly staff and an enjoyable early evening experience, well worth a visit.

Qué gran descubrimiento en Altea! Esta mañana visitamos Art Café y nos encantó. Las tostadas estaban deliciosas, pero lo que realmente hizo la diferencia fue la amabilidad del dueño. Nos contó muchas historias interesantes sobre Altea, demostrando un conocimiento profundo de la zona. Un lugar acogedor con un trato cercano que definitivamente recomendaríamos a cualquiera que pase por aquí. ¡Volveremos seguro
