Yum Yum Asia Cafe - Altamonte Springs

My husband and I have eaten here a few times. Their food is just O.K., and it’s over-priced for what you get. Today I ordered their teriyaki chicken, and it’s a huge rip-off. I have a small appetite, and I was able to eat the whole order, which I’m never able to do at other restaurants, and I wasn’t even full when I finished eating. The teriyaki chicken alone came to almost $9, for a tiny lunch portion. The worst part is that they put hardly any teriyaki sauce at all on the chicken – just a very scanty little drizzle, leaving almost the entire chicken with absolutely no sauce on it whatsoever. My husband asked for extra sauce on the side, and they charged him 50 cents for an extremely tiny container of sauce. My husband called to complain to the manager about their practice of putting hardly any teriyaki sauce on the chicken, and the manager was not friendly at all. One other thing that is lame about this place – they use really cheap, yucky white rice. Honestly, it’s the worst white rice my husband and I have ever had, and we eat rice very often. I definitely will not be going back there, and I would recommend going to other places which have similar or even better food and that are cheaper, friendlier, and have larger portions than this pathetic place.
