What User doesn't like about Mr. Taco Dine-in Open:
4 dollar for cold chips. terrible service, ran by children. my friends burrito had only meat in one half of it and when he brought it up, the server took it into the kitchen and in 2 min brought him back the same burrito with steak into the inner, that must already cooked steak, which was already sitting there since she had brought it in less than 2 minutes. big, no excuses, just one excuse why it wasn't done right. I have eaten well over 3 dozen Mexican restaurants and this place is located at the bottom of all Mexican restaurants.
No bad meal. Can be quite expensive for some items, but the food tastes good. If they were made their own corn tortillas and the aguas from scratches, the place could be a tasty hit. But many places cut quality for cost...
We ordered a burrito Supreme and a nachos Supreme, but we got 2 nachos Supreme in a messy way served, with spacy guacamole that we did not ordered, cold served, really looks like they give us some order missed for somebody else. Was our dinner after a really hard working day. We ordered by phone for carry out. Once I noticed the order was wrong we called them to let them know but they were closing the restaurant. Very disappointed.
Fast food speed with cooked to order quality. Prices are great as well. The bartender was very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and helpful. The first Mexican Restaurant I ever been to where you had a choice of salsas
This place is close to my house, and offered decent Mexican food when I wanted. Despite issues, the food was decent so I continued to go multiple times. Until the experience I had this week. They made a mistake with their online menu, so it was shocking to me when I got home and was a taco short. I called to discuss and had the phone handed to who I assume was the manager? As a manger in a customer facing role myself, this is not how you handle mistakes. I was told it was a typo, and they were working on fixing the fact that their menu advertised 4 tacos, I expected 4 but it should only be 3. She didn?t offer a solution other than ?sorry?. No extra taco like I expected for THEIR mistake, no credit, just literally nothing but to tell me how to order it next time. There won?t be a next time. That?s not how you do business. Taco Nest down the street is is for me.
I did like the food. The waitresses were friendly and the bathrooms were for the most part clean. After ordering and having to wait longer than my friend, which finished his meal as I was served mine, and others who ordered after me, I grew a little impatient. The tacos were lighly seasoned and soaked with grease and after adding a little salsa, I ate a cold taco. Also, it's basically tradition to have two corn tortillas to counter the breaking of the taco,, which mine did bust through the middle. The rice wasn't seasoned much either or at least it didn't have much of a taste to it, so I added salsa to it as well. The beans were good, didn't taste like they came from a can.
