The Bronzino is a standout dish, along with the salmon and steak options. The service is impeccable, making the slightly expensive prices worth it. The frozen espresso martini is a must-try. While some minor issues were noted like noisy ambiance and service delays, the overall experience at Lapeer is outstanding. From fresh oysters to perfectly cooked entrees, this restaurant is a favorite for many and offers a high-quality dining experience.
We had a great experience! This server was helpful and Attentive. The oysters were fresh. Bread was warm. Alexander valley wine was smooth. The striped bass was different and delicious. It had Sweet potatoes and yogurt dill sauce along side fennel. The best surprise of the night was the complimentary homemade salted Caramell candy
First time trying LaPeer. It was good but not amazing. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, offering suggestions. I asked that my wine be brought with my entree and it never arrived. I asked twice and it finally arrived with bites remaining of my meal. All in all, food was decent, service was ok, and it was pricey for the portion sizes. for people. It won’t be on our regular places to dine
The food was delicious. Will definitely be going back. I recommend the whole Branzino and octopus appetizer. Oyster were great too. It’s a great atmosphere
Have eaten at Lapeer several times. Most meals have been excellent but this visit my fish dish was less than stellar. The fish was a bit dry and the side vegetables missed flavor. There were others in my party and all their dishes were excellent. I would definitely return based on past meals with the hope of a better meal
Generally, a big OK. Servers pleasant. Food had nice presentation but generally not more than moderately interesting. Definitely overpriced, however
