The menu del dia at Rico Bros had to be one of the best in Alicante. Bread and oil, olives and three interesting starters to share followed by, in our case, blue cheese gnocchi and tempura aubergine. Really tasty! No room for postres, so we had coffee; a beer and a glass was wine came with our meals. Would definitely recommend. View all feedback.

This restaurant offers the best daily menu in Alicante just for 11€!!. The place is very quite, the staff is professional and very kind and the food excellent. They offer a variety of mediterranean and fussion options always very tasty. And, don't miss their special dessert: the Guinness cake, of course included in the price.
Great discovering for us, we are staying in a hotel next of this restaurant and just taking a walk we 've seen this restaurant. Is not a large place and it was a little bit noisy (people in Spain talk pretty out loud) but the food was imaginative and delicious. We order only tapas, our favorite patatos bravas a little bit spicy. The waitress was kind and not expensive 40€ 2 people.
We were 5 who assisted a birthday celebration at a fixed menu price. I cannot comment on the prices as our host paid for it all. We were all pleasantly surprised with the originality of the presentation and mix of flavors it gave us a lot to chat about. We each had an empanada served in the bamboo containers, then Russian salad with caviar and apple iserved in a martini glass it which was good and the caviar popped in your mouth which made it original. Next was the breaded eggplant slices with a chocolats sauce which was ok. Next we had something which is hard to describe an original piece of oven baked or fried bread with bacon that was good. Dessert was sorbet with vanilla rum but it was not the typical cold or frozen sorbet it was warm and had a bit too much alcohol for our taste. Service good and friendly. I must say that at first you are pleasantly surprised and think that it 's a good place, but then after reading the other comments, I must agree with them. If you think about it, the food is average, but because they cover it up with originality in the way they serve it (different plates and containers), you seem not to mind that it is average! I would go again at any rate.
