Guruprasad - Alibaug

This was an accidental find but believe me it was the best accident. The fish served here is so fresh even beats the supposedly no #1 in Alibaug. <br/ <br/ Rawa fried prawns the best I have ever had, so fresh and literally melt in the mouth perfectly cooked.<br/ Tandoori pomfret delicious<br/ Fish thali too good.<br/ <br/ The staff very courteous and customised our order. Loved it. Must try.

We ordered twice from here during our stay in Alibaug. We tried their fried rice, hakka noodles, chicken manchurian, prawn koliwara, jeera rice, dal fry and egg masala in all. Preparations were really nice and portions were also good.

The best place in Alibaug for seafood. The prawns fry, pomfret fry were fresh and full of flavour. The veg Pulao and bhindi masala was also decent. The prices are reasonable. We had dinner here on our last day at Alibaug.

Searched for good family restaurants in and around Alibaug and found Guruprasad on google to have good ratings and remarks.We saw their pictures and got tempted by their sea food and went for it.Their surmai thaali is amazing! Good quantity, good quality, palatable food and quick service.A must visit restaurant. And Surmai Thali would be my recommendation.

Cannot gush enough about this place....i give it 10 stars....only thing I did not like was solkadhi...it was average<br/ <br/
