This place is a secret wonder of the old town, alexandria. everything has a literary thema, and the drinks are the absolutely best in the city. manny curates and designed this menu perfectly. and chef victor tends to meet a mouthwater selection. highly recommended!

We hosted our engagement dinner here and everything was perfect! The staff created a created atmosphere, signature cocktails, and personalized printed menu for our guests to take home. The food was fantastic. The chef came out to greet us. Can’t recommend them highly enough!

The Study at Morrison House offers a quiet restaurant within the Morrison House hotel. The best part is you can have some unique drinks including their take on a Manhattan which was quite smooth. You can also order upscale fare including lamb chops and scallops. The scallops were nicely seared. Appetizers include the oysters which tasted fresh with a touch of lemon. Finally, I had the creme brûlée which was prepared with a delightfully crusted exterior and custard inside. As with any upscale restaurant you will want to bring the Benjamins to pay for it.

This charming little spot is located inside a hotel. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the dining area is very nice. The drinks pack a punch (my Romeo and Julep was mostly bourbon), but that's a minor issue. The small plates were all tasty, and I highly recommend the burger that several people at the table ordered. My pork chops were slightly overcooked, but still enjoyable overall.
