Diners rave about the freshly prepared dishes, particularly the grilled shrimp street tacos and roasted butternut squash. While many appreciate the delicious food and reasonable prices, concerns about service persist, with reports of long waits and a discouraging attitude from the owner. Despite the uneven experience, the community's support remains strong. For those willing to be patient, the café offers a unique culinary experience—one that leaves a lasting impression amidst its challenges.
We were here to eat before and it was very good! Today the owner/cook was the only one who works. we waited for an hour to eat. we saw that two different people left bc, it took too long. when he was questioned about our job he didn't start, he was filled and not nice. we ordered street tactics. I hate that! I heard him say when he cloged in the kitchen, that's a F’ed on Monday. we need such a place in this city! but I will not go back. the food was also very mediocre. I really hate that! I hope it turns around him.
Amazing food good service. Friendly people. Would eat here again on my next visit
Cleanest cafe in downtown Alex. Great food, the chef is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. Lots of local and New Orleans art on the walls- some for sale. Pictured is the Mediterranean panini and past salad.
2/28/22 here for the first time at 1:20 P.M. it was not too busy - the others have ordered their orders and the cook made everything fresh to order before our faces. this place is unique! it will definitely hit the place! the chef had a very friendly smile and he assured us that he would be with us as soon as he moved out the previous orders.1 the gum----YUMMY! very good with the cilantro? Rice!!!2. the black bean quality black beans--cooked very well.3 the steakstraße taco-OH my! the meat he uses must be part of the best on the market.4 the butternut squash! yummy! I am definitiw back. fresh and high quality food, prepared with? I wish he would add the menu with the base meat tacos. be patient with him, he is the only worker at this time. that is worth waiting!
What a surprise to find a lunch place that meets the place! while we waited for our Tesla car, we went to this modest restaurant around the corner. I had her speciality for the day, gumbo; my man had the Cuban sandwich, and our little boy had the grilled cheese. on our tellers there was no more crumbling. there was a steady flow of people who went on and out at their lunchtime break. beautiful works of art for sale on the walls. clean bathroom. service with a friendly smile. they ran low on pure kartoffel chips, but no one has the fault. will stop again if we ever make another charge through this city.
