Applebee's - Alexandria

Arrived late for a birthday party and put in a drink and food order immediately upon arriving. Everything went smoothly for me but when it came time to pay out there was some mixed ups on the other guests receipts. The food was good and service was average but not outstanding.

We got there later than we should have and that caused a huge wait. We sat in our booth for almost 15 before getting any silverware or drinks. Our server was not told that she was sat, she was also the bar tender. She recovered in total grace all while pregnant. She made the entire visit to the location.

I absolutely loved the food at this place! I highly recommend the chicken tender basket; it was delicious! The service was a little slow, but the fantastic food more than made up for it. The drinks are great too—definitely try the raspberry lemonade! However, I found the music they played to be a bit depressing.

The food is fantastic! The service is incredibly friendly and attentive. It seems that the cooks during lunchtime might get a bit mixed up, as we ordered our kids' meals first, and one of them finished before the other even got hers. However, the manager took care of the situation without us having to say anything and treated our daughter to a free lunch. I’ll wait for dessert to see if it leaves me fully satisfied.

The waitress was friendly and attentive. I decided to order the chicken broccoli fettuccine again, as I had enjoyed it during my last visit a few months ago. While the chicken was tender and juicy this time, I was disappointed to find that there was no sauce on the pasta, and the broccoli was simply placed on top without being mixed in.
