the pub is extraordinary that the bar, the only drink room, remains practically unchanged, as I visited over 40 years ago. I love the old glass windows and the stabbed deal tables, especially children who are not allowed inside, although dogs are clearly welcome (not sure what tells us?) there is a good farm behind the pub with benches and tables. a fairly recent supplement (a few years) is the wood-fired pizza oven... Great little place. Busy and a good vibe. Close to the chip shop too.
This place is uniquely social and relaxing in a simple space that is full of atmosphere and character Very rarely does a pub achieve this so effortlessly. You can't roll this out to other pubs that try so hard. It's in its bones
One of my favourite coastal haunts. Great beer and right next to a lovely stretch of coastline and a great chip shop. What’s not to like?
Great pub where you can leave the hubby while queuing next door for fish and chips. Great atmosphere
