We come here for many years. Every winter we spend in Albufeira away from the cold. This is the place where we have diner twice per week, fixed days. Chef Anibal is doing a great job, his sun Miguel is doing a great job in service. A very good team together. The fact that the place is packed lunch and diner with locals explains everything. I see even other restaurant owners having diner here. Their Fish Cataplan is to die for. Forget all the other tourist Cataplans you ever had. Chef Anibal cookes pure, what you see is what you get. Clams, squid, Kingfish, like Heaven.
This restaurant is something off the beaten track for most of Albufeira's visitors, but well worth the 5 minute taxi ride from the centre of town. They have a good selecion of fresh fish and seafood daily, good quality meats for grilling and also have a number of dishes of the day that reflect the wonderful local cuisine. Their wine cellar is also worth a mention as they stock some really good wines from all over Portugal. The service is friendly, quick and efficient. All together this is a restuarant I can recommend. Excellent friendly service. Great range of fresh fish and seafood in display cabinet to choose from. Arranged special menu for lunch for 25 of us including wine beer and soft drinks.
You know this place is doing something right when it’s packed with locals. Be sure to book or get in early because it can get over busy especially at weekends. Try the fish of the day and the grilled black pig.
