Great food and service. The only negative note of the entire experience was the noise level; with a kitchen open to the dining room there is a lot of background noise while trying to eat. View all feedback.
What Sandi Cole doesn't like about The Catch Seafood And Oyster:
I would love to enjoy the food however it is not handicapped accessible. The door that patrons are to enter, has at least a 5 inch step and my partner is in a motorized scooter and is unable to get up that step. It really is an acceptable to illuminate access for people with disabilities because their money is green too. View all feedback.
S/o to Braxton our waiter. He was so nice and attentive and made sure everyone in our party of 20 was taken care of. I had the sautéed veggies, mash potatoes and crab cakes. My sister had the red snapper and it was delicious. That blueberry cake is awesome as well. I have to grab a slice on the next visit. Overall this a decent dining experience. The service is nice in which I will rate 4 out of 5. The food is 3 out of 5 and it’s that because the taste will vary depending on who is in the kitchen. Take a mental note of the staff in the kitchen the day your food is great and don’t eat on the days they are not in there. Take that piece of advice because they will assume you want to eat for free I assume if you ask for a remake. Also, don’t get it to-go unless you absolutely have to. The atmosphere is nice and the establishment is always clean. Im a frequent diner and this is an honest review. This was a very nice restaurant. I had the appetizer plates of crab claws, Ahi Tuna and crab cakes. The crab claws were ok but not great. The Ahi tuna was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. The crab cakes were also very good. My only complaint was that the portions were very small the appetizer Ahi tuna was only 4 strips of tuna and the meal portion would be the normal appetizer portion. The crab cakes were not much bigger than an half dollar coin. The waitress did an excellent job of taking care of us. Nice atmosphere, staff were friendly, and restaurant clean. Calamari was decent but I didn't care for the bacon flavored sauce. Shrimp and grits were flavorful. Stuffed grouper: Best seasoned asparagus ever! Grouper was cooked well. Hush puppies had a great flavor but dry. Could use some sauce with it. I would recommend this restaurant.
