Vj's Sports X Pizza - Alameda

Casual Pizza Salon, fun for football matches so far. The cauliflower pizza was delicious. I love the bang! Good beer selection. The staff was attentive and friendly. I pulled off a star because the bathroom can use a change. Overall it was a good mood!

This place, man, they have some of the most delicious crust I had! We have the bbq chicken pizza with one side of wings and turns, they were all exquisite. They are all very friendly and welcome here. Definitely will return with the family! Thanks again for the great service!

The sushi place we took an Uber to was closed and VJ's was the only open option in the plaza Saturday night. It ended up being the best possible outcome. The bartender was extremely friendly and the Alameda special pizza was AMAZING. I wasn't expecting it to be so crisp and fresh. For somewhere we found accidentally I'm looking forward to going back.

No flavor, poor presentation and they shorted me jalapeño twists. Not much more to say. I have them another chance, I definitely won?t be back. 2 months prior: I googled ?pizza near me? and used their link to order pizza. I paid (and did not leave a tip since I was driving to pick it up) and arrived at the store within the allotted time window to pick up my order. I was ignored at the register for about 10 minutes. Nice. After they had no choice but to acknowledge me I learn there was a ?technical problem? and they never got my order. But my cc payment to them went through. Weird how that worked out. After waiting another 10+ minutes (on top of the 40 minutes from the time I placed my order) my food was ready. It wasn?t piping hot like it had just come out of the oven. Taste was above average. Given all the options out there for pizza I?d give this place a pass for the poor service.

Love VJ's. One of the best and eclectic beer selections in the city. Pizza is on the point and VJ itself is just a phenomenal person. It is a little removed in Alameda, but definitely worth it!
