Lagos- At Portage Lakes - Akron

Eating was good, with a limited menu and from many elements was disappointing. three tables in the restaurant, but the party center bounced with Christmas celebrations, was a distraction for our waiter.

Short ribs were superb. My husband has sesame tuna every time and loves it. Bartender, Chuck makes great craft cocktails and engages customers while doing it. Definitely going back soon.

First time we have been to this area. I understand Lagos has only been open a few weeks. Having said that my wife and I had a wonderful time at Lagos. Our server Mark was wonderful and took care of all of our needs. I had the crab cake to start with and it was delicious with little or no breading. The Lagos salad was tasty with goat cheese, slices of pear and white French dressing. The main course, lobster pot pie was amazing with big chunks of lobster and topped with lobster bisque. For desert try the apple pie. You won't believe it. Cannot recommend Lagos highly enough....

Our filets were perfectly cooked! short personal, but nevertheless it made a great culinary experience for our group!

Limited menu. We’re out of 2 main items, and an appetizer. Steak was very fatty and wet. Food was presented lukewarm. Chef was out of town. Waiter tried his best but large party going on upstairs he was helping with- he even bought us a round of drinks to compensate for all the missteps. We won’t go back, not because of service or limited menu, but because food was not good. Steak quality not good.
