Hall was very nicely decorated during wedding ceremony & then transformed into wedding banquet facility. Staff handling hors d'oeuvres, drinks, etc. were very professional. Full course from soup to dessert was excellent and after dinner snack also excellent. They did a wonderful job.

We were provid... read more For some reason Trip Advisor is listing this as a restaurant. It's a convention center used to hold meetings or group events. They do serve food. We were provided with pastries and coffee/tea service during our meeting event. Internet was spotty in this location, but the rooms were very nice, lots of plugs/outlets, and kept the sound within the room fairly well.

We used them for my husband’s 50th birthday party and the staff and venue was outstanding. The food and setup was great and our guests can’t stop raving about the night. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone having a special event.

We attended a meeting at the Ajax Conference centre on a cold evening in February. The centre has several rooms available to be booked and we were in a large ro... read more We attended a meeting at the Ajax Conference centre on a cold evening in February. The centre has several rooms available to be booked and we were in a large room that was clean and well lit. It was a cold night and the heat was on low. Several of the attendees complained to the staff about being cold but it didn't seem like they adjusted the heat. There was only cold water to drink, I guess the event organizer would have had to pay more to get hot beverages served. We were directed to a coin operated machine in the hallway to get tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Some positives were that there was a lot of free parking and the decor was modern and fresh. The staff didn't strike me as overly friendly and was scarce, perhaps they all called in sick that night, it seemed understaffed and empty for a building that size. All in all it was a good place for the meeting and seats were comfortable and the A/V things seemed to work well so no hiccups to the presentation and our meeting.

The staff helped us bring every little detail we envisioned for our wedding reception come to life. They worked hard to set everything up the way we imagined, and worked hard through the night to ensure that everything went smoothly. The wait staff and the bartenders were personable and fun, and the event coordinators helped ensure that everything went off without a hitch. Thank you to everyone involved for making our wedding dreams and visions become a reality!

The choice of menu was impressive considering the amount of guests attending. The food was hot, fresh and really tasty. I was particulary impressed with the quality of the vegetables (being al dente snd not overcooked). I am sure it must be a logistical nightmare with so many dishes and the chefs must be applauded along with the waiting staff. They were completely invisible. Was a very pleasant surprise as was expecting mass produced rather than home cooked. Well done to all concerned.
