For a quick meal it was good enough. Nice beer. We had fish and chips, nice fish, dreadful chips. I think they were baked in old fat, not quite done either. The coffee (plenty) was more or less like tea. View all feedback.
Average pubic food with average prices. waitresses were very nice. I've filled the place, but nothing I'd find out of my way.
We've been going to the Kaslo Hotel restaurant for years now, and it's always very good. The fish and chips is one of our favorites
Everybody is talking about JB's Fish and Chips and while I'm sure it's delicious, my 5-star rating is based on another menu item: the humble hamburger!__Oh.
My new wife told me this place was the best to have fish and chips. She was not wrong. We ate here two nights in a row. The fish is lightly battered with great flavor. The fish is fresh and big. The topping on the night was the brown gravy to dip our fries into.
8 of us dropped in without reservations and were placed in a private area that could easily accomodate all of us.
