Just wandering around Agen and the stomach called " lunch". This just proves that being lead by one's stomach can be a good choice as the Bistrot Voltaire was just by us. Plat du jour - good entrees, one main dish of quality thick steak...More View all feedback.
What Michelle Levy doesn't like about Bistrot Voltaire:
The rave reviews for this restaurant puzzle me. We had an adequate but not exciting menu de jour of carrot soup, steak and chips and creme brulee for euros. Soup was only luke warm and the lettuce leaves accompanying the steak had seen better...days. Wines were quite expensive. Service a bit slap dash. Much better food at lower prices can be eaten in the villages of the Gers. View all feedback.
A friendly welcome to taste well cooked and copied dishes.
Friendly efficient kitchen perfect service well I advice
Very long service. The charcuterie tapas cheese is excellent and one per person can eat you. On the other hand, not the best. Many (too) fry, half would already be fine. I took a pork feather because I love it, but I ate everything but pluma. No tenderness, very thick. Too bad If you want I can make you taste the real pork Pluma that has nothing to do with yours
We ate great! Value for the top!! Especially come the empty belly that the puck has shared it fills the stomach! We were two. Very generous. Top service, server that knows these products and that is super nice! Frame is pleasant
Excellent address. Quality cuisine and warm welcome. Good surprise!
