I needed a late lunch and The Beigelry has been on my list for a while so I headed there hoping, fingers crossed, that they still had bagels left. I was very happy to see some still in a basket. I ended up having the New Yorker on a dill bagel, with japaleno cream cheese and all of the extras. I was practically drooling at the thought of it on my way back to the office. It was packed full of filling - I&nbs... View all feedback.
What Eileen Skiles doesn't like about The Beigelry:
had a lox bagel for lunch today after hearing about this place online and recognizing that it is not too far from the work. really enjoyed it and could not believe that most extras are free. will definitely come back. View all feedback.
Brekkie with a friend needed a bagel date. we met the hard bagel choice, then the tricky bagel filling. served cheaply in a cardboard container, we put our bagel in the coffee shop next door to get the necessary caffeine fix. I also have bagels to take home with me and put in the freezer that they fortunately shared for me. both bagels delicious as usual.

I fell in love with bagels during my time in New York. They were readily available and one of few options that guaranteed me a quality, fresh snack on the run every time. Needless to say, I am very excited that Adelaide has its own takeaway bagel joint, and now that I'm working in the vicinity of The Beigelry, will be a regular. My poppy seed bagel filled with jalapeno cream cheese was spot on. Perfect texture and fabulous bite thanks to those delectable jalapenos. I'll be a bit more adventurous next time, and pile one high with salad.
Having lived in the states for ten years I have a deep love of bagels. I used to get a warm choc chip one on the way to school every morning and after my return visit there last year reacquainted my love of pumpernickel and cream cheese. The Beigeley is a small cute little bagel place tucked away in topham mall and it has the potential to be a great bagel place. I ordered the sesame seed bagel with New Yorker filling- salt beef, pastrami and mustard. I don't like to add much salad gear when it's about the meat so just a couple of slices of tomato for a bit of sweetness. Great amount of fillings and a small handful of pretzels was great for only $11.50. The pastrami and beef were beautiful, tender and flavored well but unfortunately the bagel was really dense and very hard to chew. If they can get that bagel density right this place would be perfect. Seems lots of people have already found this place as lots of workers in their lunch break were coming through as we sat and ate ours. I think they have the menu right, just the right amount of options and not getting to carried away. The service was great, friendly and fast. We didn't think they had any drinks on offer but it's written on the counter which was hard to see, I think a drink fridge would help fix that problem. Looking forward to seeing what these guys get up to in the future.
