Quebec Fries - Adelaide

Today I was served by a rude argumentative staff member who said her name was Sam. This is the worst customer service I have ever received. She served me the last of the fries in their warmer which did not fill  the container, there was and excess of sour cream I am assuming to make up for the lack of other ingredients. The fries were stale and old. They had even lost that nice golden fry colour. Regardless of whether she agreed with my complaint or not, if looks could kill I would have died on the spot. She offered no apology just a snide remark that she would have to disagree... left dissatisfied and angry. A simple apology would go a long way!

This is my pick for a quick lunch when I am at work and Ive somehow managed to miss breakfast a meal here keeps me going til dinner. The only drawback at the Collonades store at Noarlunga is that they don't have an online or fax pre order so if they are busy I wont eat here as I will run out of time for lunch.

After living in Montreal/QC for some years and tasting authentic Poutine I was super excited to see that there was a joint here in Adelaide offering it up. However very sad to say the product is far from authentic, for starters the cheese is just grated and melted onto the dish, not chunks of cheese curd like in Quebec and the gravy has no flavour. Whilst the fries are great they aren't the same soggy fries as usually associated with poutine. All in all I hope they manage to replicate the original product, but for now I won't be returning any time soon...

Just had the steak, and wow! It definitely exceeded all expectations! The grilled sous vide steak would have been at home in a restaurant. If you get chips, do make sure you get the gravy.  The salad wasn't anything amazing (proper iceberg lettuce, cucumber, red onion and tomato with a dressing), but lets be honest, you're only going to eat that to keep your mum happy :)

Just average. A little disappointed. Won't rush back The gravy is flavorless and the cheese is very mild. Chips could have been cooked a little more.
