I stopped here for lunch and had a wonderful experience. The food is straightforward but incredibly tasty. They offer a few vegan side dishes along with some pre-made vegan bowls. The only protein option for vegans is tofu. Our meals were served promptly! View all feedback.
What bekkadallasen doesn't like about Flower Child:
I’m not entirely sure who this restaurant is for. While there are vegan options, they are not what I would expect from a placed named flower child. Vegan options are clearly marked. Apps include hummus and avocado hummus. There’s a ginger miso crunch salad, a taco salad, and veggie salad. A few rice bowls and some vegan sides. I had the Thai dye wrap and it was edible. Just really simple and uncreative things. View all feedback.
Several choices, I was amazed at the flavor, the way it was cooked, fast, and so healthy

I used to frequent Flower Child on Lover’s when I lived in Dallas, and now, whenever I visit my dad, this is where I come! The food is consistently delicious, and parking is much easier to find. I'm absolutely in love with the Mother Earth bowl, which I always order. The sauce on the sweet potatoes is my favorite part. Honestly, when you add tofu, it lacks flavor on its own, but they offer hot sauces that you can use, or you can just mix everything in your bowl, and it works out perfectly. I do wish they had more vegetarian options, but even then, I'm not sure I would stop ordering the Mother Earth bowl to try them. Today, I noticed they had a black bean falafel wrap that sounded really tempting, so maybe next time I’ll try something new!
I've dined at this Flower Child location three times from 2022 to 2023. The first two experiences were delightful! I particularly enjoyed their cauliflower risotto. However, during my third visit, the risotto seemed different—it just didn't taste as good as it had before. It might have simply been an off day for the kitchen and that particular batch. Overall, I find their vegan options to be delicious, made with clean ingredients. They do a great job of clearly labeling vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free items on the menu. I hope they expand their vegan dessert offerings in the future, as they currently only have vegan chocolate pudding.
