What Joann Bahl doesn't like about Dave's Diner:
Had the sausage gravy over home fries. Gravy was nasty. Worst I have ever had. Side of sausage, 1 patty, it wasn't the best either. Daughter had chocolate chip pancakes with side bacon. Just like the atmosphere, the bacon was bland. I have had better and cheaper breakfasts at the chains. Would not recommend and would never stop here again. The waitress was pretty nice except for asking 5 times if I wanted a coffee re... View all feedback.
This place is a jewel! We recently moved to the city and have eaten so often here. All we had was nothing less amazing. My favorite is the BLT. They don't take cash, but they don't have a big deal on the spot. I recommend trying!
Best diner in town by far. Home made soups (mushroom soup) and great menu. Give them a try
We were first time diners coming to the area to see antiques. We love cute diners and this one was great! Don't judge the outside as we almost did. Did not look inviting lack of curb appeal sort of worn appearance. But inside is very clean. Bathrooms very clean!! First time I ever ate baked oatmeal! It was Soo good! My boyfriend had bacon eggs and home fries which were delicious. We are from Bethlehem and will be coming back soon for sure! Thanks to the cook for the good food and the staff for your excellent work.
It was my first time here and I was pleasantly surprised! For an older diner, the place was very clean and the food was good! The waitresses were very nice, the prices reasonable and there were 2 very good looking men dining at the same time. ? It was a nice added bonus. Would drop by again for breakfast if I'm in the area I don't live close unfortunately! Thank you for accommodating me so close to closing time!
Sparkling clean, delicious fresh home cooked food, great price, and a super friendly, upbeat, excellent wait staff. So glad we stopped in here for breakfast. If you are in town antique-ing, it is right across from Mad Hatter and next door to Adamstown Antique Mall. Oh, and it is much larger inside than it appears from the road.
