The Lamb Flag - Abergavenny

The pub, located beneath Sugarloaf (Pen-y-fâl), is near Weinberg's Sugarloaf. It offers a good selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes, as well as Brain's beer. However, my favorite Barry Island IPA is only available in small quantities. The pub also boasts spectacular views for those lucky enough to snag a window seat. Abergavenny, being the capital of Wales, is not exactly known for its vegetarian options, making the lamb dish a welcome find.

I made a reservation for Sunday lunch and was disappointed to find that there were only 3 options on the menu, all of which were meat-based. I had specified that I wanted vegetarian options when booking. Unfortunately, upon arrival, the only vegetarian option available was veggie sausages. Meanwhile, meat eaters had a variety of choices, like chicken or turkey, for the same price. This was very disappointing and we ultimately decided to dine elsewhere.
