Food gorgeous, portions generous but we were determined to squeeze in courses. While the bed was comfy the pillows were lumpy. Hotel sits on main road, but very little traffic through the night so the traditional sash windows, which aren't the best for sound deafening, didn't matter.

Power cut for whole of Aberfeldy last night and this morning left us all to fend for ourselves but staff extremely helpful. Will stay again. John and Maureen Blake.

We stayed in the annex, the room was very spacious and comfortable, however the guest next door could have snored for Scotland and won no problem...this was not... read more We stayed in the annex, the room was very spacious and comfortable, however the guest next door could have snored for Scotland and won no problem...this was nothing to do with the hotel of course. The food is very good with large helpings, we would gladly return here but perhaps not to the annex....

Every lit... read more This restaurant has been carefully and stylishly renovated and updated. It must have taken a lot of time and money to achieve such a beautiful result! Every little detail, from the furniture to the elegant crown molding, was flawless. It's clear that a lot of care and effort went into this project. We don't see this level of craftsmanship often in the United States when it comes to restoring old buildings, so it was a pleasant surprise to see here. The staff was also fantastic - breakfast was delicious and the service was excellent. There's a rumor going around town that this place serves the best martini in Aberfeldy. While I can't confirm this myself, I wouldn't be surprised if it were true! Overall, it was a wonderful experience and stay at this restaurant.

The dining area was well-kept and the breakfast was delicious. They also had a wide variety of whiskeys available. I highly recommend this restaurant and would gladly return in the future.
