The Square - Aberdeenshire

We visited here yesterday and were blown away by the choice.This takeaway sells Scottish food, kebabs, pizzas, wraps,calzones and more. We had traditional haddock chips. All freshly cooked in front of us. I take my hat off to these guys. The best batter we have had. No grease and thanks for my free pickle. Great value for money

The chicken fillets are amazing! The food is great and the portions are large. The waitress is friendly. I am really disappointed that it's closing!

The chips was.a little soggy. Fish was definitely frozen.the counter was very oily and covered with salt and vinegar

I just went in for a very simple chips and coleslaw. A chip shop basic I would think. It was inedible. How long had those chips been sitting there? And the coleslaw was sour again how long had that been sitting? Makes me feel a little sick. What they must think of customers before that was acceptable to serve me. I'm not hard to please and actually just went and made myself lunch. So prime location in a lovely town but there are loads of chip shops here I advise you do what I will in future and chose another one. Hate to write a negative review but credit where credit is due.

Tried the fish and chips, on a visit to the town and was very satisfied with the taste and quality, would even say that it tasted better than the other well known chippy in town, also more for your money.
