Friday 4 Feb./22 although a cold night in butdeen had a great night. nice clean neat pub with a great atmosphere. the staff was helpful, friendly and accommodating. has taken a gitarre, unannounced, no problem. more than a few hours played. only a few regular had a jump. all in a great night would recommend. we have gone back View all feedback.

I was really disappointed in this place years ago it was excellent but not now. First of all I don't think the manager's customer skills was great as there was 5 of us and the tables are set up for 4 people and I asked him to put another chair at our table which he did but when I thanked him he never said a word and walked away. Stopped by here on way to Xmas market in Aberdeen. One of the oldest pubs in the city. Very busy for a Thursday afternoon which is a good sign. I had pulled mushroom chilli. A bit different but tasted really nice. Wife had scampi and daughter had beef burger. I had a nice pint of Guinness. Wife and daughter gin spritzers. Overall cost £56. Reasonable on this day and age.
This restaurant in Aberdeen is truly a hidden gem. The food, drinks, and ambience were all top-notch. Not only do they offer a Scottish menu, but also a traditional menu. There is a great selection of beers to choose from and the staff were excellent.
Great toastie and pint for lunch. Friendly staff and prompt service. Recommend it to everyone. Well done to the whole team.

A really great pub where you can sit and relax and feel welcome and 'safe ' inside. It 's nice and cosy and the staff were very friendly when I was there. Toilets were spotless. They have a great range of drinks of offer and I loved the different fruity cider I tried. I didn 't have anything from the menu as I 'd already eaten earlier, but I definitely will be back soon to order some food as it looked good.
