an old building dating from the 1670s originally dominated by dominican monks, the villages of the preacher founded in toulouse, the pub reeks of history and has fine glass windows, the pub ground floor is on three different flats with a lot more comfortable sitting opportunity, a pleasant welcome as they arrive, we had lunch with generous portions and wonderful black beer. a must visit pub in Aberdeen. Pleasant pub with a very high level of cleanliness. It felt fresh and the food and drinks were just what we were looking for at the time. Awesome Chicken Tikka and a good enough fish and chips. The house red was perfectly drinkable!
