I always order my weekly fix of Indian cuisine at this little gem hidden in Meadowvalley Mall. It appears to be family run and they really are helpful for the non Indian versed consumer. Just be sure to ask for extremely mild if you are not use to Indian Food. My favorite dishes:Curry Chicken, Palak Paneer and Naan - sometimes Tandoori chicken. Nothing too crazy yet. What Selina Gutmann doesn't like about Mr India Meats & Restaurant:
Ordered breads, mixed veg, pakoras, tandoori chicken, and rice. The only thing that we tasted in the veg and rice was heat. The veg pakora was excellent but the chicken pakora not so good. The tandoori chicken had minimal flavour and we only got legs....The breads were just sad. The good things were the food was not oily and there was nothing that was over salted. We will order again but it would most likely be just... View all feedback.
Their butter chicken and rogan josh is very good some of the best I've have had in a long time, service was friendly and reasonable price.
We have been in Spain 21 days and this was the cleanest, best service and food we have had so far. It was also my birthday and they gave us an outstanding cake and free after dinner drinks, not to mention they played Happy Birthday. Our waiter was Michand and he was so nice and obliging. It was the perfect evening, the food was delicious, the ambiance and music was just right. We didn't want to leave, but we thought we better leave and make room for other people coming in.
A friend suggested this little "hole in the wall" place for lunch and we were not disappointed. Yes, the restaurant is basic but the service was friendly, helpful and courteous. We orderd two vegetable based dishes and found them very tasty. Helpings were very generous and the price was certainly very reasonable. There appeared to be a lot of take outs during lunch time and many of them were Indian. We would visit again.
My first indulgence in Indian cuisine was here 2 years ago. Their butter chicken was incredible. goat masala fish tikka was to die for. would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
We stumbled across this gem of a restaurant while travelling through Abbotsford and I'm so glad we did, the best Curry we have had since emigrating from the curry mecca that is England........we will be back
