This restaurant has received a mix of reviews. Customers have complained about long wait times, incorrect orders, salty gravy, and confrontations with staff. On the positive side, there were comments about good food, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, and competitive pricing. The pub has been praised for the delicious food, welcoming hosts, and serene surroundings. A special mention to Harry the chef and Lettie the barmaid for exceptional service. Despite some flaws, many guests have enjoyed their experience and would return. Overall, a charming spot to unwind and enjoy a meal with friends or family.
What User likes about The Wheatsheaf Inn:
Fortunately a few miles from the A1 so lovely and quiet. Very welcoming hosts. Great food and lovely beers. Recommend the fully loaded beef burger and the pizzas. Nice to sit out the front of the pub and look at the crooked steeple of the church opposite. Pricing is very competitive. Would definitely visit again if in the area. View all feedback.
