The restaurant offers a lovely patio with great atmosphere and amazing cocktails. However, some dishes such as the duck breast, vegetable dish, and bruschetta lacked in presentation and taste. The service was good overall but not as warm as expected. On the other hand, the homemade pasta and veal appetizer were outstanding. While some guests were faced with noise and rushed service due to a large party, others enjoyed the experience and food immensely. The restaurant is recommended for its excellent service, homemade pasta, great wine selection, and overall delicious meal options. It is suggested to try the duck, ravioli, and veal dishes for a truly delightful dining experience at Poesia.
What Josh likes about Poesia:
Came here from out of town on a strong recommendation and it definitely lived up to the hype. Service was amazing, although the wait time was not. The food explained the wait incredible! I had the most amazing lasagna ever. My boyfriend had a dish with mussels or something. He loved it too. I was especially appreciative of the amazing wine selection. I'll be back. View all feedback.
What Liadan Ryland doesn't like about Poesia:
The food was good, but it was the longest I've ever waited at a restaurant by far. We received our appetizers pretty quickly, but two plates of pasta took an hour and a half to arrive. Our server tried to offer us a free dessert after, but at that point my friend and I just wanted to leave after waiting so long! View all feedback.
