Great seaside cafe with great coffee, cakes and a great menu. We've never had a dud coffee or meal there...& we've been half a dozen times now. Lovely relaxing vibe & the owner's & service is great. Best kept secrect in D'Bay. Enjoy! View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Mermaids By The Bay:
We ordered 2 x Grilled Barramundi. It came out after a good wait & both were oily & RAW! & both also had bones. Not HappyAlso we had a scrambled Eggs on toast with a Hash brown.It came out with a small amount of scrambled eggs, that did look good. A slice of toast that wasn't even toast. It was half a slice of French bread toasted. Yuk!The hash brown came out 5 minutes later.We did not continue with eating our meals.... View all feedback.
This cafe has been our go-to spot in the neighborhood for years. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the menu is quite pleasant. The shop could use a bit of a makeover in terms of decor, but it's always enjoyable to sit on the deck and admire the water view.
This charming restaurant offers beautiful water views where you can sit back and unwind. The dine-in menu has plenty of options to choose from, and the food is absolutely delicious.
The best fish and chips you’ll find anywhere seriously, and I’m fussy. Hubs and I have breakfasted and lunched here and both times the food was great and the staff friendly and efficient. Add to that a great view of the waterfront and wonderful ambience and you’d be hard pressed to find a lovelier spot.
Highly recommend this place, great customer service and great iced coffee, breakfast is always yummy here!!
