I haven't dined at the Cancun Mexican Restaurant on Chapman Highway in a few years, and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they have remodeled and introduced a new menu. The interior is now more open and brighter, and the menu features new dishes. The ingredients were fresh and beautifully presented on our plates. I stopped visiting this restaurant a few years ago, but I thought I’d give it another chance, hoping things had improved. I was wrong. Everything I ordered tasted bland and similar. Additionally, if you get takeout, they don’t include complimentary chips and salsa like most other Mexican restaurants in the area.
