I don't go to McD often so I'm not sure if all locations have transitioned to this but if they have, it's pretty ludicrous. I was trying to order at one of the self service kiosks in the restaurant. In order to complete my purchase it was requiring me to have the McD app on my phone and enter some code from the app into the kiosk. No way around it.
