This restaurant experience was disappointing and unacceptable. My child and I were ignored by the server for 10 minutes while they helped everyone else. It was clear that they only cared to serve white customers. As someone with 16 years of experience in the industry, I had hoped this would have been a great outing for my child, but instead it turned into a lesson on racism in America.
