Only stopped between trains, but have experienced MUCH worse. The staff were extremely polite and helpful and by jacket potato with tuna to takeaway was exactly what I requested. So often, when requesting that, what you get is a jacket potato with runny tuna mayo, which is not to my taste. What Anyportman doesn't like about Cafe Express:
Have used this a couple of times now and it hasn't improved or deteriorated. Distinctly middle of the road, coffee is wet, warm and there's a bit of flavour but the cakes/muffins are distinctly dry. No litter bins or tray depository to place used items so it does get difficult when busy. Service is ok but then it's only over the counter after all. Be warned it can take some time so keep an eye on that train time!! View all feedback.
