Original Nicky’s - Broad Channel

What Andrew P likes about Original Nicky’s:
I've only gotten one thing here so far, the duck sandwich, several times. It is so sublime that I have yet to try anything else, although I did get a pork sandwich once for my friend, who liked it. The duck meat is juicy, delicious, perfect. Its quite out of the way for me, so I typically jump on a Citibike from elsewhere in the East Village just for this sandwich. Dirty restaurant with visible roach bait in the corners. Counter filled with random stuff. Looks like a hoarder’s desk. One employee, an older lady who is doing everything. Worst powdery milk tea I’ve had (and GROSSLY overpriced). I ordered 2 banh mi sandwiches which were not good; the meat did not taste fresh. I couldn’t hear kitchen sounds or cooking sounds.
